Jamia and JNU move classes online amid hazardous Delhi air quality

Amid worsening air pollution in Delhi, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) have moved all classes online to safeguard the health of students and staff. JMI will continue online classes until November 23, 2024, while JNU will do so until November 22, 2024. Both universities have confirmed that exam and interview schedules will remain unchanged. These steps align with the Delhi government’s health safety measures due to the city’s hazardous air quality.
