Telangana has made significant strides in education, with improvements in literacy, gender inclusivity, and the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER), which increased from 35.7% in 2017 to 40.0% in 2022. PhD enrolments have doubled, while MPhil enrolments have declined. The state maintains a favorable Pupil-Teacher Ratio (PTR), ensuring quality education, and has expanded its institutional framework with growing enrolments.
