The freeze has sparked national debate over federal control in higher education, drawing both political support and criticism.

Delhi University students, particularly at Kamala Nehru College, faced anxieties over examination results, including incorrect ‘absent’ markings and ‘Essential Repeat’ grades. While most issues were resolved, students and faculty highlighted technical glitches and called for system improvements. A DU professor has invited concerned parties to address the matter, reaffirming the university’s commitment to resolving genuine issues promptly.

The new policy divides 59 SC sub-castes into three groups based on backwardness, allocating reservation percentages accordingly.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the NEET MDS 2025 hall ticket on its official website, natboard.edu.in. Registered candidates can download the admit card using their login credentials. The NEET MDS 2025 exam will be conducted on April 19, 2025, in a single session. Candidates must carry a valid ID along with their hall ticket. The exam pattern includes negative marking, with section-wise time restrictions as per NBEMS guidelines.

The Department of School Education, Telangana, has begun the registration for the TS TET June 2025 exam at tgtet.aptonline.in. Applications are open from April 15 to April 30, with exams scheduled between June 15 and June 30. Eligible candidates must meet academic and professional qualifications for Paper I or Paper II. The exam consists of 150 MCQs per paper. Hall tickets will be available from June 9 and results will be declared on July 22.
