Donald Trump has called on Elon Musk to send SpaceX on a high-stakes mission to retrieve NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore from their extended stay at the International Space Station. The duo’s return, initially set for 2024, has been delayed due to technical issues with Boeing’s Starliner. Williams, an experienced astronaut with eight spacewalks and leadership roles, continues to contribute to research and repairs while in orbit, embracing the unpredictable nature of space travel.

The Maharashtra LLB CET 2025 marking scheme has been revised for both three-year and five-year LLB programmes, reducing the number of questions from 150 to 120 while maintaining the two-hour exam duration. The weightage for each section remains unchanged. Over 70,000 candidates have registered for the three-year LLB programme, with registration extended to February 13. The exam will be conducted online in English and Marathi.

The COVID-19 pandemic severely disrupted education, leaving lasting effects on students’ learning. A recent National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) report highlights a significant decline in literacy and numeracy, particularly among fourth and eighth graders. Chronic absenteeism and disengagement from deep learning have exacerbated these issues, widening the achievement gap. Urgent interventions and strategic support are necessary to help struggling students recover and bridge these disparities.
