Los Angeles wildfire: LA school district allocates over $2 billion to rebuild damaged schools

Los Angeles Unified School District Superintendent Alberto Carvalho announced a $2.2 billion plan to rebuild wildfire-damaged schools and enhance disaster resilience. The funding includes $725 million for Palisades and Marquez Elementary Schools and Palisades Charter High School. Temporary classrooms will be provided by 2025-26, ensuring education continuity for affected students.
