The National Medical Commission (NMC) has confirmed that National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) students are eligible for NEET UG 2025 under the GMER-23 regulations. Addressing confusion over NTA’s NEET-UG Bulletin 2025, the NMC clarified that NIOS students can apply, including those studying an additional subject at an authorized institution. NEET UG 2025 registration is open until March 7.
