Uttar Pradesh’s ₹8.08 lakh crore budget allocates 13% to education with ₹1.06 lakh crore

The Uttar Pradesh government has announced an ₹8.08 lakh crore FY26 budget, with key allocations for education (₹1.06 lakh crore), healthcare (₹50,550 crore), and agriculture (₹89,353 crore). Infrastructure development receives the highest share of ₹1.79 lakh crore. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized a focus on uplifting the poor, farmers, youth, and women under the ‘priority to the deprived’ theme.
